Al-Falah , the first school in Jeddah and the west coast.

The school was built by Mohammed Ali Zainal.
When it first started the school was not open for everyone, because Zainal did not have a permit from the Turkish ruler to open the school at that time. The school was officially open to the public in 1905 after he got the proper authorization from the Turkish government, who back then was not paying any attention to the education in that part of land. Which made Zainal to built the school on his own expanse, on the first place.
